Terms of Contract

General:

We NEVER give binding Information over the phone. So please send an email to station@hostel-cologne.de for all kind of requests. For every misunderstanding, misinformation, etc. due to a phone call you will bear the risk!

Payment:

  • Roomrates are without Citytax! 5 % of the accomodation need to be added as Citytax. On special terms you can be freed from the Citytax by a filled form (Details under FAQ).
  • We need a prepayment to secure your booking.
  • If you choose „credit card“ as payment method you give us the right to charge your card earliest one week prior to your arrival. In case your credit card will not work, we will send you an email to find an alternative solution.
  • If you choose „paypal“ you make sure that the payment will be done immediately after your booking.
  • If you nor have a credit card neither a paypal-account, you can send us an email with your booking details (including a billing address). Then we will send you an invoice by email, which you need to cover by bank transfer latest one week prior to arrival.
  • A non or delayed payment dispenses the Hostel to keep the booking. It doesn’t dispense the guest from the booking, especially his payment obligation.

Cancellations:

  • We want to get you as a satisfied customer who loves to stay again with us one day. Therefore we always try to handle cancellations for you as easy and pleasureful as possible.
  • If you didn’t get any individual cancellation policy by email, the following takes place: Free cancellations can be made only by email or letter up to 2 weeks prior to arrival. If we receive your cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to arrival, we still try to sell the beds and offer you a refund (afterwards), if we could sell your beds.
